This club aims to promote criminal justice (police, courts, and corrections) interests and awareness, examine issues of justice and fairness within the American criminal justice system, enhance educational opportunities, and foster collaborations between college, community, and regional justice-related institutions.

We participate in community activities, have guest speakers, and host our podcast. It is a great club to learn more about the criminal justice system and the opportunities available to students.

You do not have to be a Justice Studies major to attend. Come and learn more about your community and how justice issues impact everyone. It is also a great way to make friends!

The Diesel Technology Club was established to provide extra-curricular activities related to diesel/auto mechanics for those students enrolled in diesel technology. LCWR is a student operated college station broadcasting a freeform format. LCWR has sampled from a variety of often very different genres. Licensed to Lewiston, Idaho, United States, the radio serves the Lewiston area. The station is currently owned by Lewis-Clark State College.

The LCSC Shooting Sports Club: Shotgun is a recognized club in the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation.

The shotgun club participates in 16-yard trap, trap doubles, skeet, and five stand. The home facility is the Colton Gun Club. Weekly practices are held on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm.

Shooting competitions with other local clubs (i.e. UI, EOU, BSU) are held each fall. Regional and National competitions are generally held in January and March in Las Vegans and San Antonio, respectively.

A peer mentor is a student in their sophomore-senior year who helps new students build a foundation for personal success at Lewis-Clark State College. They work closely with students enrolled in SD-107: New Student Orientation to help them connect with the LC State community and achieve their educational goals.

Peer mentors also provide academic, social, and emotional support to their mentees while also introducing them to additional campus resources, policies, and procedures.

Residence Life offers many activities during the school year, both on and off campus. Students pay a $25 per semester Activity Fee and most of the on and off campus events are free. For over 25 years, Lewis-Clark State College’s student-run literary journal, Talking River Review, has featured creative work by some of this country’s best contemporary writers of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction.

Past contributors include Steve Almond, Kim Barnes, Mary Clearman Blew, Sherwin Bitsui, Judy Blunt, Michael Earl Craig, Claire Davis, David James Duncan, Stephen Dunn, Gary Fincke, Pete Fromm, Jim Harrison, Patricia Henley, B.J. Talking River Review is published biannually by the Associated Students of Lewis-Clark State College (ASLCSC). Subscriptions are $12 per year (which includes two issues) and back issues are $12 each.

Students who enroll in the 4-credit class and/or participate as a club activity publish an issue of TRR each semester. This is a fun unpaid internship opportunity where students learn the ins and outs of publishing a literary journal.
